Our founder and director, Tara Cannon, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Sober Living industry. Tara comes with an extensive background in addiction treatment, public/client relations, and Quality Assurance management. She has met the requirements for Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) and Certified Recovery Residence Administrator (CRRA). Tara began her career in the Mental and Behavioral Health field in 2009 working in an entry level position for one of Florida’s premier treatment facilities. Her professional ambitions have been centered on providing guidance to individuals who are suffering from an addiction to drugs and alcohol. In addition to direct support of patients, Tara has also contributed support to providers interested in state and federal licensing, both CARF and Joint Commission Accreditation, P&P compilation and implementation, and Risk Management, among other consulting services. Tara is ardent about her spiritual and personal growth, much of her time is devoted to a Vedic Meditation Practice, fitness, spending time with family, several of which are in recovery from addiction, and tending to her 3 adopted animals; Sweetie, PuppyCat, and Montague.
